Meeting/Event Information
Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.
The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.
Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. You must be a member to access them from this website. If you are not yet a member, sign-up today or contact us for more information.

HELP US KICK OFF 2015-16, A BRAND NEW ASHRAE YEAR!
lllinois Chapter members and friends will return to the Rock Bottom Brewery to kick off 2015-16. It is on the southwest corner of Grand Ave. & State St. on Chicago’s north side. (Indoor parking garage is on northeast corner.) Homemade Rock Bottom beer, root beer and soda will be among many refreshments served at this casual get together. Come and sample a few of the tasty homemade brews along with burgers and other delicious treats at our "Tailgate Party."
President Roland Schleicher will describe what we have to offer in the way of educational, social and other events. He’ll also introduce our committees and discuss opportunities for getting more involved in ASHRAE. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers many educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help professional engineers satisfy their continuing education requirement. This year's programs will be built around topics that members have requested. Join us on August 18th and hear about these and other plans for 2015-16.
The Kickoff Meeting is also about having fun and networking with your professional peers. We are not only interested in seeing Illinois Chapter regulars at the meeting but also new faces. So bring a friend or someone in your office you think should know about ASHRAE. We hope you and your company will be represented on this evening! Bring a guest and get your reservation in soon.
