Meeting/Event Information
Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.
The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.
Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. You must be a member to access them from this website. If you are not yet a member, sign-up today or contact us for more information.

The Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) committee is getting together for our first Happy Hour of the new ASHRAE year! Join us on Wednesday, August 28, at Sidebar Grille from 5:30-8:30 p.m. We’ll be kicking off 2019-20 with a brief presentation on YEA and STEM Scouts. We’ll have a quick brainstorming session for fun events, happy hours, sports leagues, etc. and cover some of YEA’s goals for the year. If you’re interested in hosting, sponsoring or leading an event or initiative, please bring it up and we can try to make it happen!
There will be free snacks and refreshments and you’ll have a great platform to network and make new friends in the industry! You’ll also get a chance to win up to 2 center ice 200 Level Blackhawks tickets + 1 parking pass, donated by Kevin Summers and BEC.
