Meeting/Event Information
Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.
The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.
Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. You must be a member to access them from this website. If you are not yet a member, sign-up today or contact us for more information.

Craft Brews Beer Festival
Saturday, September 18, 6-10 pm
Lincoln Park Zoo
YEA members and guests will savor a selection of more than 150 craft beers and ciders at the sixth annual Craft Brews beer festival, hosted by Lincoln Park Zoo and Lou Dog Events! Beer tasting stations will be set up throughout the zoo’s beautiful gardens during this one-of-a-kind, after-hours experience just for adults. Ticket holders will also enjoy food for purchase, music, lawn games, and of course the zoo’s amazing animals! Our event sponsors have made it possible for you to enjoy this event at a very special price.
Tickets:
$15.00 (includes (20) 3 oz tasting tickets and 1 souvenir tasting glass.
$5.00 (for folks who don't want to drink but come along and enjoy the zoo)
All tickets include admission into the zoo.
Online registration is available. Please sign up by 2:00 pm on September 17. Be sure to include your email addess so tickets can be provided before the event.

Lincoln Park Zoo is easily accessible by public transportation and ride shares. If you wish to drive, paid parking is available in the zoo’s lot on Cannon Drive. Face coverings are not required in outdoor areas. However, in accordance with city and state guidelines, please wear a mask inside zoo buildings. Bring a face covering with you or pick one up for free at the Gift Shop on the zoo’s Main Mall.
