Meeting/Event Information
Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.
The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.

Region VI Chapters Regional Conference
The 2022 ASHRAE Region VI Chapters Regional Conference, May 18-20, will meet in Minneapolis. While it’s the place where leaders of the region’s ASHRAE chapters go for business meetings and training, there’s so much more going on — technical sessions, tours, networking and social events — and EVERYONE IS INVITED.
The conference will take place at the Graduate Hotel in Minneapolis. A block of rooms is specially and reasonably priced. Events include an update on the ASHRAE Decarbonization Task Force, Welcome Party at The Graduate Hotel including Top Golf bays, football stadium and energy plant tours, a full day of presentations on Friday, Awards dinner, and various business meetings throughout the event.
