Meeting/Event Information
Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.
The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.
Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. While December days turn frigid outside, the scene indoors will be warm and bright when the most cherished holidays of the year offer chances to gather with co-workers, associates, family and friends. Get your celebration going early at the Illinois Chapter’s annual Holiday Party.
Enjoy unlimited beverages, plenty of delicious food and lots of holiday cheer to celebrate the season. Listen to a live band perform your favorite holiday tunes. Take in the fantastic view of the city from the 66th floor of Willis Tower.
At the Holiday Party, we'll also celebrate 2022’s Excellence in Engineering Technology Award winners. The evening will include an award ceremony to recognize some of the Chicago area’s finest achievements by HVAC design engineers. The winners will be introduced and their projects displayed. Please join everyone for this very special reception, planned for 4 – 8 p.m. inside the Metropolitan Club’s Oak Room. Come with a group or by yourself. We have a great afternoon and evening in store.
