Meeting/Event Information
Illinois Chapter usually meets once each month, August through June, on Tuesdays. The Chapter’s annual golf outing and fund raiser always takes place in September. Generally 70 to 80 members gather at monthly meetings, which makes them an excellent networking opportunity for members interested in meeting and developing other contacts in the industry.
The State of Illinois requires professional engineers to complete 30 PDHs (Professional Development Hours) of training for license renewal. The Illinois Chapter ASHRAE offers educational programs with more than enough PDHs to help engineers satisfy this requirement.
Presentations from previous Chapter seminars and meetings may be downloaded after logging into the "Member Area." The Illinois Chapter of ASHRAE stores past presentations. You must be a member to access them from this website. If you are not yet a member, sign-up today or contact us for more information.

On August 1st, we’ll return to Guaranteed Rate Field, the home of the Chicago White Sox, for our annual Kickoff Meeting & Membership Promotion Event. It’s time to get the team together again and prepare for the Illinois ASHRAE’s 2023-24 meeting season. At our traditional “team meeting,” new President Danielle Passaglia will introduce the players, positions and goals for the year. You’ll also hear about ways you can contribute to this team effort to present a championship series of educational programs and other special activities for Chicagoland's HVAC&R community.
You are invited to join us inside the private clubhouse behind home plate. Choose from an assortment of select wines and beers and enjoy hand-carved meats and other delicious offerings. Dine in the air-conditioned comfort of the magnificent Guaranteed Rate Club overlooking the playing field. The Kickoff Meeting is mostly about having fun while networking with your professional peers. We also welcome new faces, so encourage you to bring friends or colleagues to introduce to ASHRAE.
Registration is open, so get your ticket soon. See you at the ball park!
Free parking will be in stadium Lot D. For those who choose public transportation, the park is a short walk from the Red Line rapid transit train stop at 35th Street, or from the Green Line 35th St/Bronzeville station.
