On August 6th, we’ll return to Guaranteed Rate Field, the home of the Chicago White Sox, for our annual Kickoff Meeting & Membership Promotion Event. It’s time to get the team together again and prepare for the Illinois ASHRAE’s 2024-25 meeting season.

At our traditional “team meeting,” new President, Amy Mueller, will introduce the players, positions, and goals for the year. You’ll also hear about ways you can contribute to this team effort, everything from planning educational programs to shadowing a current chair to support Chicagoland's HVAC&R community.

You are invited to join us inside the private clubhouse behind home plate. Choose from an assortment of select wines and beers and enjoy hand-carved meats and other delicious offerings. Dine in the air-conditioned comfort of the magnificent Guaranteed Rate Club overlooking the playing field. The Kickoff Meeting is mostly about having fun while networking with your professional peers. We always welcome new faces, so bring your friends and colleagues to introduce to ASHRAE!

Registration is open, so get your ticket soon. Early bird registration is available through 7/16. See you at the ball park!

Free parking will be in stadium Lot D. For those who choose public transportation, the park is a short walk from the Red Line rapid transit train stop at 35th Street, or from the Green Line 35th St/Bronzeville station.
